The Safe Center’s Housing Programs assist survivors in starting a new life free of the violence they are fleeing. While in the program, these families work to gain the emotional and economic independence necessary to live in peace and safety. Emergency Shelter and/or short-term housing assistance can be provided.
Women and children who are not safe in their own homes are accommodated for up to 90 days at the Safe Home for Abused Families, a residence maintained at a confidential location.
The Housing Program offers short-term rental assistance for victims of domestic violence and their children through its Rapid Re-Housing Program.
